On Tuesday, Oct. 4th, we will dedicate our Chenrezig/Amitabha practice to the memory of Lou Ferayorni, who died last year on October 5th. Hard to believe it’s been a year already.
On Saturday, Oct. 8th, at 9:30AM, we will hold group Ngondro practice for those qualified.
On Sunday, Oct. 9th, Lama Zopa will complete his important teaching series on The Four Thoughts That Turn the Mind to Dharma, by teaching the 4th thought, Defects of Samsara.
On Tuesday, Oct. 11th, we will hold a Guru Rinpoche Shower of Blessings Tsok. This is an offering of the five sense pleasures to Guru Rinpoche and all enlightened beings in which we share. Preparation is at 6:30PM. All are welcome. Please bring a vegetarian snack or drink such as crackers, cheese, cookies, nuts, fruit, chips, juice or bottled tea.
On Sundays, Oct. 23rd & 30th, we will begin offering a series of introductory teachings based on Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche’s book Excellent at the Beginning, which is available at our bookstore. This series will be taught by senior students, beginning with Laura Roth. This is very important information for people new to our center and a good review for more experienced practitioners as well.
