About Khenpo Ugyen Tenzin

Khenpo Ugyen is scholar in residence at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock, NY. A native of Bhutan, he studied at the Nalanda Institute of Buddhist Studies at Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim and Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in India. He served as principal teacher at Nalanda Institute before coming to the United States. Khenpo Ugyen recently completed a lengthy retreat at Karme Ling retreat center in Delhi, NY.
