When I do my practice, I don’t start meditating right away.  First I relax my body and mind. You should only begin to practice once you have become relaxed.  Even if you do not practice a long time, you will be able to focus your mind on whatever the object of meditation is, and the stability and steadiness of your mind will be stronger.    The Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, Ngondro for Our Current Day
