Albany Karma Thegsum Chöling Schedule for August 2019

Picnic: Sunday August 4: Meet at noon at Mohawk River Park, 71 Schermerhorn Rd.,  Latham. (Carpooling also available from our center at 11 am, after meditation). Kindly bring a  vegetarian dish, snack, dessert or non-alcoholic beverage to share. ( Rain location is our center at Doane Stuart School. Please check your email for last minute rain notification. )

  May 26th: Installation & Dedication of Kangyur with Lama Karma Drodul and Lama Zopa…
including a brief teaching. The Kangyur is the text of the complete words of the Buddha, in
Tibetan pecha form. This will become an essential part of Albany KTC’s shrine, completing
representations of Buddha, Dharma (the Kangyur), and Sangha.

Teaching Canceled: Regrettably Lama Lodro has the flu and cannot come. Because of the cold we will not have our regular program on Sunday.

(Special Guest Teaching January 6-7: Lama Lodro Lhamo: Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva. Saturday 10 am-12 and 2-4 pm. Sunday 10 am-12. Suggested donation $20 per session (members $15), but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. This text gives the most concise presentation of the bodhisattva path.)
